I am a low fat raw vegan. I eat only raw organic plant based food. I also believe in the 80/10/10 approach which means 80% or more of my calories come from fruit which is the high carb component of my program; 10% or less of my total calories are protein from fruits and vegetables; and 10% or less of my total calories are fat from the same sources. This is a vital formula to follow for my overall health and vitality. It is based on the book 80/10/10 by Dr. Douglas Graham.
I use Cron-o-Meter to track all my food intake. It is an incredible tool. I weigh/measure all the items in my diet. I don't do guesstamating. Nor do I like not tracking. I want to see what I am doing for certain. It is not very time consuming at all. And, this site is truly user friendly.
I usually post my blogs in the morning hours and include my food for the day and the stats from Cron-o-meter.
Tomorrow morning I will do a blog post regarding todays food and stats.
