DAY 27 OF 100 80/10/10 HIGH-CARB LOW-FAT 100% RAW 100% ORGANIC.
Today I want to discuss a topic that has come up several times this week in personal discussions. The topic of priorities. If your priority is centered around control, around rules ruling your life, around always being right, always being the focus of your self-centered existance, then I truly feel sorry for you. You are what I call "lost".
Many websites have rules and sometimes these rules overshadow people and their need to communicate their personal path which is hopefully of course embodying the concepts that the site itself teaches. Some of these websites are operated and "ruled" over by people who are what I referred to above as "lost". They decide based on their judgements of comments made on the website, who should be allowed to participate and who shouldn't. I can't change them, I can only feel remorse for them personally. They will eventually learn the value of opening their heart and operating from that platform.
Another aspect of this is putting your own personal diet as more important than the people you are around. Many of us, including myself, have been over-zealous at the beginning of regaining health, and have unfortunately tried to over-do the advice and information to others. This in turn has made them and their personal choices seem wrong. This is not loving. This is not being a friend to others. This is not sharing, it is prosletizing. No one really listens until they are open. That is the time to share the path you are on, and not until that time. Of course you can share with others, just do it when and where appropriate and in a way that is gentle and loving. And, as always, BE the change you wish to see. Accept others and always put kindness first.
This includes going off program when you are visiting others IF NECESSARY. I have a trip coming up after these 100 days. I have sought counsel, I have formulated scenarios. Every time the only way I can feel good at taking this trip is if I put my own personal diet on the back burner. Unfortunately for me and my particular situation I cannot take one bite off program without binging. This is not an imaginary condtion. So, I take this action knowing the serious consequences which will automatically occur.
The binging cannot be stopped at the snap of a finger. It takes planning out and staging out the process. So, as soon as my vacation ends I will go on a 7 day smoothie only fast followed by another 92 day juice feast which was my next step anyway. I will also be doing daily enemas for the first 3 weeks, including an organic coffee enema once a week on Sundays. Extra rest is also required and I am prepared for 12 hour stints in bed as required the first 4 weeks if necessary.
Most of us interact socially. We who are seriously committed to our path of eating healthy can find a way in most cases to share our own preferences/needs in such situations without making fuses or causing a lot of uncomfortable questions. Where there is a will there is a way. Above all else it is not true that you cannot be social and eat healthy - even extremly healthy as I and many others do.
As to my stats for yesterday: 2009 calories 86.6% carbs/6.9% fat/6.5% protein. Fiber: 62.7grms Sodium 115.3mgs (too low - minimum required is 125mgs). I need to add celery to my program.
This morning I weighed in at 108.6 (-.6), and my body fat% was 27.9% (-.7)
Sorry for the long blog. I needed to express the above issue. Thanks for reading and commenting.
