DAY 25 -- HIGH CARB/LOW FAT/80/10/10 PARAMETERS   ACTS OF KINDNESS

My mom had her flaws.  She was a fem fatale'.  She would have felt home in a western whore house actually.  She was a party-hardy woman and very much loved by men.  I was not the product of her husband, my dad's, loins.  My next door neighbor was my father actually.  She had more affairs then most women and she never felt guilty at all.  She also was very intelligent: IQ of 175 which matches mine.  She also was very generous.  One time when I was struggling she transported me back and forth to work while she paid for my car to be towed to a repair shop and be repaired.  She furnished me with enough food to keep me going for a week and gave me $40 cash.  She truly was a generous and giving woman.  I, again like her, am generous.  No one goes hungry around me.  And I don't feed them junk!  They eat what I eat.

Yesterday was a very busy day.  I had an early morning student after 2 hrs of food prep in the kitchen, followed by an initial inspection of a new cleaning clients house.  Then a regular cleaning client followed by a special cleaning project with another client - garage cleaning!!!!  Which I simply love to do!  On the way to that client's house I got a call from a neighbor of a client of mine wanting a bid on their house this Saturday to possibly add to my work.  This was all followed by the delivery of a new small freezer to my house.  I'm running out of freezer space in my 2 refrigerators.  Summer is coming up and I am being gifted loads of produce from friends and students.  I needed the extra space.

I finally got to bed and slept for 9 hrs straight!  LOL  I was tired but the good type.  Again, no exercise at the mall.  I still need to get that consistent.  Still, I exercised!!

On the subject of acts of kindness:  1)A young girl was going door to door in my client's neighborhood promoting her organization.  She was being trained on properly facing people and asking for support.  I admired her drive and commitment.  So did my client who did a donation to her organization.  I donated a ice-cold bottle of water for her journey.  I also complemented her on her abilities with the public.  She truly had my vote of confidence.  2)This was the client who I helped clean his garage.  His wife had gone on a business trip and he was going to go to the grocery store to buy more produce because she had made smoothies with what they had and they were in the freezer. LOL  I just happened to bring over some extra smoothie for him and shared my Fettuccine-Alfredo with him.  He was very grateful.

We have a responsibility in my book to assist those wanting to help themselves.  I do not give to the manipulative people on the street corners begging for money from kudo-seeking passers-by.  These people are not poor, they are completely supported by our tax dollars and they make more money than I do, and I make a very good income!  But, I will help those who help themselves.

My food today was great!
Water
Watermelon
ABC Smoothie
2 bananas for snack
1/2 serving of Fettuccine Alfredo served over 1/2 lb of red leaf lettuce
For dinner:  Tomatoes, corn, mung bean/alfalfa/lentil sprouts

My Cron-O-Meter Stats:  2423 calories 81.1% carbs/11.3% Fat (a little high)/ 7.6% protein.
My Omron Body Comp Stats:  Wt: 109.4 Body Fat: 28.1 Muscle: 27.9

A very good and active day.  I'm feeling great and my energy level is sustained all day long.

I need to get more bananas than usual this coming market day.  I'll see if Natural Grocers will cut me a deal on a case.  Keep in mind that the true cost of fruit/vegies is the edible amount per lb.  As in bananas the fruit itself weighs much less than the "clothed" product.  When I weigh/measure it is the EDIBLE part of the fruit/vegie itself.

Thanks for reading my blogs.  Have a HIGH-Carb day.
