DAY 37 LOW FAT, HIGH CARB, 80/10/10RV CRON-O-METER PARAMETERS  -- JUICE!!

My nails, my skin need more nutrients from greens than what I can physically eat per day.  I have been noticing small changes that aren't to my liking the last couple of weeks since reducing my greens consumption.  I do not want more smoothies/fiber in my diet at this time and cannot drink sweet green smoothies.  My only other viable option is to go back to drinking my V6 juice.  This is to me a great solution.  It has a lb of greens, a lb of tomatoes, 1/2 bunch of celery, 14 ozs of carrots, 1 whole cucumber and 1/2 clove of garlic for zing!  I normally put some baby bok choy or bok choy in it also but it isn't available at this time.

I added another client to my cleaning business yesterday.  I hope she works out.  Their huge chocolate lab loved me and that is always important to new clients!  She even played with her favorite toy right beside me.  How adorable was that?!

Yesterday's food wasn't that great.  I had Spinach-Pesto dressing on some vegies and the dressing doesn't have enough flavor for me.  Again this lifestyle is something you need to experiment with to get it to your specific likes.  Everyone likes different tastes. Some like very little flavor, mono-meals, and no overt fats.  I like savory tasty more complicated dishes and variety!  Variety is the spice of life.  I also had 6 cups of my fruit smoothie, 10 medjool dates and 2 bananas for snack in the afternoon.

I had 4846.1 grms of water, 2413 calories, 88.9% carbs/5.9% fat/5.2% protein.  67.8grms fiber, 143.1mgs sodium.

I'm noticing that the produce I purchase at Natural Grocers seems to not be as good a quality as the produce I purchase at the Co-op.  I honestly think they are cutting their costs by purchasing the lower quality.  The bananas I purchased are still a bit green when they get spotted all over and when I prepare them for the freezer they are mushy.  They are also splitting their seems which is something I'm not use to seeing in a banana.  The cost of organic bananas is .24 cents more per lb and I need to buy 15 lbs of bananas per week to maintain my supply for smoothies and snacks.  That's a lot of bananas.

Local non-certified organic farmers that do not use pesticides, etc. on their produce are starting to sell  their produce at the co-op and I partake of it weekly.  I am seeing heads of lettuce that are literally singing arias and as vibrant and dark in color as you can imagine.  A head of locally grown pesticide free is $1.79 each.  These are weighing in at 2lbs per head!  Magnificent!  The non-local organics are $2.79 each and 1/2 the size.  Glory be to the local farmer for sure!

Thanks for reading.  Remember to eat your fruit and greens and vegies.  Drink lots of water and get at least 8 hrs of sleep a day.  Your body will thank you!
