DAY 53 -- HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN - 80/10/10 CRON-0-METER
I had 1 new cleaning client today and 1 kind of new with a oldie client. I worked my butt off and it was hot! I drank 80 ozs of water along with a water-rich high carb diet. My ph is staying very high and that is showing me I'm doing right. I suggest everyone test their morning urine with a ph test strip. Again it is one of those health indicators that helps me keep on my path.
Yesterday I ate watermelon, 6 cups of banana-strawberry-pineapple smoothie, mixed salad with avocado and Zucchini-Asparagus-Tahini dressing; 10 dates; dinner: sprout and lettuce salad with Nans dressing. YUMMMMMM
My Cron-O-Meter stats: 2420 calories; 84.1% carbs/10% fat/5.9% protein. Water: 5020.5grms; Fiber: 65.3grms; Sodium: 190.8mgs.
Short blog today. Have a fruit-filled one and drink your water and sleep well!
I just watched most of Jeff Novick's "Fast Food" DVD and he had a little treat on there of the medjool dates, split in 1/2 with some raw almond butter inside. I know you try to limit your overt fats, but for a little treat every once in a while, this might be great. I can't wait to try it!
ReplyDeleteTina, I realized that if I do indeed have overt fats daily, keeping them within 10% max of my total calories, I do quite well. It is too restrictive to have none for me. I will try this. I'm certain that I could use cashew butter instead of almond butter, couldn't I?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip. Hope you are doing well.
I'm sure cashew butter would be great. He used raw almond butter cause he likes almonds. I'm loving the DVD's I got of his. I'm doing ok. Working 2 jobs now and trying to fit in fun time. I'm so loving reading your progress each and every day!!
ReplyDeleteOh Oh, one more for ya! Do you like chocolate? He did a chocolate "sauce" with one ripe mango, pureed in a food processor or blender and then approx 4T of raw cocoa powder (only ingredient) and just mixed it together. No overt fats and all natural. He made a parfait with strawberries and blueberries with this sauce in between each layer. Oh me. I'm loving him!
ReplyDeleteNo, Tina, I don't do any chocolate, cacao, or cocoa powder. LOL Enjoy!
