DAY 69 -- HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN - 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
Today was a very busy day. I had 3 clients in both businesses! I was pumping it! I also was very hungry and had a whole small avocado and still stayed very good within the 80/10/10 parameters.
I have been presented a very good mirror - as we all are - with a mentoring student. I am seeing my reflection of how refusal of change goes against my desire TO change. When I say no to doing something in my best interests, I am saying no to life. This has been a great lesson for me and one that I will have in my conscious mind as a reminder.
My sprout farming is doing excellent! The Easy Sprouter way of sprouting is incredibly easy and I'm enjoying it. All the new seeds are sprouting beautifully well. I'll finally have a viable crop of Alfalfa and Clover by Tuesday. My lentils and mung bean mix are ready to eat tomorrow. I'll be planing my first wheatgrass tonight! I'm stopping by the North End Organic Garden Center tonight and picking up more seed trays and a nice organic soil with kelp and bat droppings...LOL
Yesterday I ate watermelon, Banana-Citrus smoothie (5 cups), Proud Sprout Salad with Nan's. For dinner I had a huge heirloom tomatoe with sprouts and avocado-lemon dressing.
My stats: 2725 calories; 86.4% carbs/ 8.4% fat/5.1% protein. Water: 5187.4grms; Fiber: 77.4grms; Sodium 292.3mgs.
Thanks for stopping by today.

DAY 68 - HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN -- 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
Normal work day and sprouting farm day. I did start a batch of Alfalfa and Clover from the new seeds from SproutPeople.com. So far so good.
Nothing much to say today. Very busy in both businesses and with my sprouts and health and home life. Doing more research on sprouting and thoroughly enjoying my participation in growing my own food. Everyone should try it. I appreciate what the small farmers go through and the co-op. There is a lot to appreciate! Hard work, persistence, dedication and a lot of know-how and heart. Weather, watering, temperature variances all play a part in whether a crop grows, stagnates, dies.
We isolate ourselves from so much and say we are living.....HA! Eat 100% raw and do a 92 day juice feast detox first and then START your journey to LIFE. You won't believe the difference you will feel. Cooked food is dead food. Processed PHood is a fools adventure into slow death.
Yesterday I ate watermelon, 4 3/4 cups Banana-Mango smoothie; 14 dates; Proud Sprout salad with Nan's; Sunflower greens, mung bean sprouts, orange tomatoe with Cashew-Asparagus-Sweet Pepper dressing.
My Cron-o-Meter stats: 2641 calories; 87.1% carbs/7.5% fat/ 5.4% protein; Water:4556.8 grms; Fiber: 70.3grms; Sodium 320.9mgs.

DAY 67 -- HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN - 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
Some days feel like you are in a whirlwind. Not just of activities but also of twists and turns. That was my day yesterday. I know to a large degree of how to handle myself mentally/emotionally when this occurs. It still is an interesting personal dynamic. I was exausted when the day was over and it took a while to get to sleep.
I ate watermelon, 5 cups of banana-apricot-blueberry smoothie; Proud Sprout salad with 1 serving of Zucchini-Asparagus-Tahini dressing; 12 dates; dinner was a large yellow heirloom tomatoe with sunflower greens, clover sprouts and 1/2 serving of Cashew-Asparagus-Sweet Pepper dressing.
I tested out some more clover and alfalfa sprouts in my new sprouters. They did great until yesterday! I realized that the source of my seed was the problem! They were too old and were not sprouting correctly. Oh well! So, last night I switched to my supply of both from SproutPeople.com and again used the EasySprouter method. I'll keep you posted.
I got my orders in from both Sprout People and Got Sprouts?. I am almost ready to plant my 1st plot of wheatgrass! I'll start it probably tomorrow. In fact I'll start soaking the 1st batch of seed this morning. It takes a lb of seed to do a 10 x 17 tray. That's a lot of seed! That also is a lot of wheatgrass! I also received my wheatgrass juicer and various other types of seeds for sprouting. I'm placing a large order this weekend with Sprout People for more seeds.
My Cron-o-Meter stats: 2689 calories; 82.5% carbs/10.3% fat; 7.2% protein; Water: 4535.2grms; Fiber: 67.2 grms; Sodium 335.2mgs.

DAY 66 -- HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN - 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
Yesterday I had a morning filled with putting fires out in my cleaning business. Everything worked out, which they do always, now that I can think straight and have my clients interests as priority. I'll be honest here --- while eating a Standard American Diet people are drugged and emotionally taxed and they won't see it until they detox and switch to a living foods diet! I am amazed how often people say they "want" cheese, milk, etc., and actually it is an addiction that is running their choices.
I found a very good source for my sprouting seeds and supplies. I search for knowledgeable individuals who are INVOLVED and available and run their own business. SproutPeople.com is my source and I highly recommend them to everyone. Their seeds are organic and great quality, their prices are very reasonable and their shipping costs are NOT bumped up for their profit. I received my orders within a couple of days without any damage to the contents. They have Youtube videos on how to do the sprouting and if you need to contact them via email they respond that day. This weekend I am placing a very big order. I want a months supply of seeds minimum on hand in reserve and probably more like 3 months. It will take awhile to get to that point with all my other financial priorities.
They sell a device called an "Easy Sprouter" that is truly remarkable! I am using it for my alfalfa and clover sprouts. They sell them for around $14.00 each. I ordered 4 more. With the bigger seeds I am still sold on the glass jars. The issue with sprouts is drainage #1, and #2 is temperature issues. Since the outside temperatures are in the 100's the last 2 weeks I've lost 10 crops of alfalfa, clover and lentils together. That isn't acceptable at my level of needing to grow for my daily use. The "Easy Sprouter" keeps air circulation and drainage going on all the time. My alfalfa and clover sprouts are doing great and I'll be enjoying them tomorrow after a final day of growth. YUMMM
I'm getting excited about starting my wheatgrass growing again. I love wheatgrass juice! The supplies should be here by Friday and I'll start growing my crops this week. Yahoo!
My food yesterday: 60 ozs of water, watermelon, 5 cups of Banana-Mango smoothie; 12 dates and 2 bananas for snack, a wonderful Proud Sprout salad with red leaf lettuce added and Nan's dressing. For dinner corn soup. I need to change the recipe a bit. It was ok but not wonderful.
My Cron-o-Meter stats: 2841 calories; 86% carbs/8.5%fat/5.5% protein; water: 5241.9gms; Fiber: 74.1grms; Sodium:237.4 mgrms.
I hope you all are upping your calories through fruit and decreasing your cooked/SAD diet. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

DAY 65 -- HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN - 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
Another hot one today. I find when the heat exceeds 95 I retain water and my appetite fluctuate and so does my weight/body fat%. It stabilizes to normal of course. Last year and all the years before in the summer heat I got sick so this is a piece of vegan cake for sure.
I ate watermelon; 6 cups of banana-apricot-blueberry smoothie; Proud Sprout salad with Nan's dressing; 12 dates and for dinner more watermelon. I drank 60 ozs of water.
Cron-o-Meter stats: 3159 calories (wow!--and I dropped a whole pound!); 86% carbs/6.2% fat/7.8% protein; water:4865.7grms; Fiber:88.3grms; Sodium:179.8mgs.
A shocker: I love heirloom tomatoes! So much so I am going to grow them next year on my own from seeds from The Heirloom Seed company. Wish me luck! I bought 4 of these babies this weekend and didn't know how much they cost until I glanced at the receipt: $20!!!! Wow!!!! They are good but they aren't gold. So, again I need to stay conscious when purchasing.
Thanks for reading my short blog. I have sunflower sprouts to harvest this morning so I'm short on time.

DAY 64 -- HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN - 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
Today I felt very tired from 4 days straight of very hard physical work. I took a nap for the first time in months and felt better. I got very little done except to recuperate and that was enough.
I did some more research on wheatgrass growing. There are many methods and most are personal preferences and circumstances of growing. I am still coming up with my game plan while I await my shipment of seeds and trays. I am going to add some kelp to my sprouts - all of them. I am a firm believer in using the sea to fortify our bodies and I'm not into eating oriental foods. Most are not raw and loaded with chemicals when eating in restaurants. I don't eat seaweed or nori. This to me is the best and most organic way to get the nutrients missing in our soil. Now to find a local supplier.
I ate watermelon, 6 dates and 2 bananas, a Proud Sprout salad with 1/2 cup of Nan's dressing. For dinner I had red leaf lettuce with corn, heirloom tomatoes, clover sprouts and 1/2 serving of Cashew-Asparagus-Pepper dressing.
My Cron-o-Meter stats: 2602 calories; 86% carbs/8% fat/6% protein. Fiber: 74.1grms; Water:5175.6grms/ Sodium:149.6mgs.
Have a great day everyone.

DAY 63 - HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN - 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
I did 4 days in a row of all out hard work and didn't even have one bit of problem with my glycogen issues and muscle problem. NADA! This is a miracle! I cannot convey the joy I feel being healthy and fit. In fact I am healthier now than I've ever been in my adult life. Unbelievable but true! This all because of the basics of the 80/10/10 program by Dr. Douglas Graham. I do not follow the mono-meal aspect and I do have more complex meals, but hey!, I love how I eat!
Yesterday I had 80 ozs of water, watermelon, 6 cups of banana-apricot-blueberry smoothie; 2 bananas and 12 dates for snacks; Fettuccine-Alfredo with baby spinach, asparagus, tomatoes and alfalfa sprouts for lunch. For dinner a Proud Sprout salad with avocado, orange tomatoes and 1/2 serving of my Cashew-Asparagus-Sweet Pepper dressing.
Thank you for reading my short blog. Lots to get done on my "day off" today. LOL

DAY 62 -- HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN - 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
Anyone who doubts this lifestyle hear this: I've been working full steam and then some since Wednesday of this week. I have been taking on new cleaning clients and deep cleaning their homes every day since Wednesday. This is not ordinary house work! Because of my eating program, hydration, high-carb (fruit), and sufficient rest I can do this and still stand upright the next morning! LOL This is a far cry from last year at this time when every day was a chore just getting out of bed. Please note that I'm doing this when it is 100 degrees outside which makes a major difference with the way the body performs. NO PROBLEMS! No seizures, no emotional turmoil, no big snits!
Yesterday I had watermelon, 5 1/2 cups Apricot-Banana smoothie; 12 dates 2 bananas for snack; Fettuccini-Alfredo on Spinach, tomatoes, sprouts, asparagus; Avocado, tomatoe, sprouts with Nan's dressing for dinner; 60 ozs of water.
My Cron-o-Meter stats: 2803 calories; 84.6 carbs/10% fat/5.5% protein; Fiber: 74.9%; Water: 4942.8grms; Sodium:164.7%
I need to jump in the shower and get ready for another big day. Tomorrow is a day of partial rest and I will indeed do that!
Thanks for reading.

DAY 61 -- HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN - 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
Today I started a new cleaning client. I worked my tail fins off! And that was just on a small portion of their home. It hasn't had TLC from a cleaner in years! And I love working hard. My client was there for most of the time and she is a very friendly person. Their dogs were at the groomers so I didn't have to fend off their attention, LOL. I'll go back today and again Saturday. The house appreciated the attention and so did my client.
I've been thinking of getting back into growing wheatgrass. I'm checking out some seed and supply providers this Sunday. I've got the space and lighting/air circulation issues all figured out. I'll buy some shots this weekend and start doing a shot a day. I'm trying to up my greens in different ways. I'll be blogging about my progress on the wheatgrass issue. Yesterday I got my mini-salad spinner. I'm using it to de-hull the alfalfa/clover sprouts. It works swell. Don't ask the price...it was way too expensive! But it works and I can't find it locally. When I'm visiting my friend in Sacramento this October we will be going to several different stores that carry kitchen gadgets. I'm hoping to find some new kitchen toys to use in my raw food prep.
Yesterday I had plenty of water=80 ozs; watermelon; 5 cups banana-blueberry smoothie; Proud Sprout salad with Nan's dressing (I added some garlic, yummm); Dinner was Spinach, orange tomatoe, corn, sprouts with 1/2 serving of Sweet pepper-asparagus-cashew dressing.
My Cron-o-Meter stats: 2864 calories; 84% carbs/10% fat/6.1% protein; water:5235.3 grms;fiber:76.4 grms; sodium: 206.1mgs.

DAY 60 -- HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN - 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
Short one today. I started a new client yesterday in my cleaning business. She's a hoot! She is a personal trainer and agrees to CARB UP! and reduce fat. She's open to anything about food and she did a 28 day vegan program and had incredible success. I gave her a big hug when she told me her views on diet and I will definitely share some real food with her.
I worked very hard yesterday and didn't have any issues with my glucose/muscles. A far cry from last year at this time. What a relief to be normal! All due to raw organic low fat high carb real FOOD!!!!
Yesterday I had 80 ozs of water, watermelon, 6 cups of banana-papaya-mango smoothie, a Proud Sprout salad with a new dressing that was wonderful: 1/2 small avocado with 2 Tbls of raw tahini or cashew butter and juice of 1/2 SMALL lemon. Of course I put some herbs in with it too. Add some water for a smoother consistency: about 1/4 cup. I blended this up using my personal size blender. It made about 3/4's cup enough for the large salad. YUMMM. I also had 1/2 serving of Zucchini-Asparagus-Tahini dressing on a lettuce based salad for dinner and 12 dates during the day.
Cron-o-Meter stats: 2767 calories!!! 82.5% carbs/11.4% fat/6.1% protein. Water: 5025.9 grms; Sodium:249.4 mgs, Fiber: 72.5 grms.
Have a wonderful day everyone. Thanks for reading my blogs.

DAY 59 -- HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN - 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
I ordered some supplies and seeds/beans from GOTSPROUTS.COM. I am bumping up my production of sprouts and greens I grow myself. Ever since eating a daily sprout salad my purchase of greens from the co-op diminished to 1/2th the quantity. Daily I have a sprout salad for lunch and a leafy greens salad for dinner and I'm loving it! I am getting a range of micro-nutrients and mega nutrition from what I grow that I can never get in a grocery store. There's nothing better than harvesting your own food and cutting down fresh greens for a salad. It's economical also!
In addition to the above I placed another order with SPROUTPEOPLE.COM for other supplies. I avoid the big companies like the plaque! I give my resources ($$$$) to the small independents like myself who are INVOLVED with not only their product, but their employees and their customers. By the end of next week my front sun room area will be a true sprout farm with loads of charm! I'm probably even going to turn on the radio to the classical music station so they can grow with beautiful sound. LOL I know my cats enjoy it. It also keeps the house safer from burglars if you have music on while you are not home. Also leave a jar of loose change out in the open. While they are stealing that there is a chance they will rush out at the first sound of noise and leave your possessions. This happened to me one time.
Yesterday I ate watermelon, 5 cups of Banana-Mango smoothie, 11 dates, Proud Sprout Salad (my name!) with orange tomatoes, avocado and Cashew-Asparagus-Pepper dressing (yummm); 11 dates, Leafy salad with sugar snap peas, mushrooms, tomatoe, sprouts and Zucchini-Asparagus-Tahini dressing.
My Cron-o-Meter stats: 2267 calories (my calories are low this week, what gives??), 83.9% carbs/9.8% fat/6.3% protein/ Water: 4746.6 grms (80 ozs); Fiber: 64.8grms; Sodium: 197.5mgs.
I'm changing the time I get up in the morning from 3am to 4am. I need the extra hour to do some contemplation. I'll call it meditation time. As important as greens and carbs!
Enjoy your day in the sun and eat your greens and fruit up!
DAY 58 - HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN - 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
Today I made some decisions about some existing clients. The healthier I get, the more face-to-face interaction I want with people. I have decreased my on-line time from 8 hrs per day to 2 in the last 6 months. My businesses all are personal interaction and I thrive because of this. But 1 of my clients is an office and I never get to interact with the people. I don't like that! I've had them for over 10 years and have been holding on tenaciously eventhough not wanting to do the job any more. This weekend coming up will be my final weekend cleaning for them. A decrease in income but one that now I can handle.
We need human interaction! Using the internet as a passive way to "connect" is not cutting it for anyone. It is an addiction! I recommend everyone taking a good look at the way the internet is sucking the life out of you and your day. Be honest! Be brave! Take a stand and take action. Take action to go out physically into life itself and get connected with others physically. Hand write a letter; go for a walk in a public park; invite a neighbor over for some salad. Really take the risk to truly connect.
Yesterday I also heard from a long-time client. Their lifestyle has drastically changed and they are moving to a smaller place that is much easier for them to take care of. I am on my final cleanings with these fine people and I will miss them. Therefore I am taking action starting today to replace them so I am not left with another opening. Actually they are on the oposite side of town than my other client that day. It was always a hastle to get from one side of town to the other. This has been weighing on my mind for some time. Now it is time to get this handled.
I was very focused yesterday and didn't eat much by my standards. 60 ozs of water, watermelon, 5 dates, sprout salad with avocado and tomatoe with Zucchini-Asparagus-Tahini dressing. Later on in the evening I had a small salad with tomatoe, corn, and clover sprouts with 2 Tbls of ZAT dressing.
Cron-o-Meter stats: 1773 calories; 84%carbs/10%fat/6%protein water:3303.6 gms; Fiber:51.4 gms; Sodium:182.9grms
As those who read my blogs know I am an avid sprout grower. Sprout salads are a daily staple and are replacing 1/2 of my lettuce purchases. This saves money and is actually fun to do. I've been checking out different ways to grow sprouts, different sprouts to grow and places to purchase on-line supplies cheaper. Boise grocers are starting to really limit selection in an effort to drive the consumer to the internet! When a business starts to eliminate the desires of the public it always results in their demise. One of the many reasons I want to move back to Sacramento! It is much easier there to find what you are looking for.
Thanks for stopping by and reading my blogs.

DAY 57 -- HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN - 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
I can say this was my "day of reckoning" with finances. When I was given the bad news I received from my dear doctor/friend/811rv mentor/naturopath back in October I had to get through the shock of it all. It took about 2 weeks. Then I had to listen to some different game plans and come up with a program to get my weight and body fat down and my health the way it should be.
This is my 2nd time at raw vegan. Last time was in the '90's and I turned my doc and his wife onto the path of 811rv and then some. He thought since I saved their lives he would do the same with me. I fell not only off the wagon, but off the entire mountain of health because of lack of support. I was ridiculed actually, by co-workers, family and friends. There was no Internet support, nothing! It is a crucial element to success. This is why I have my mentoring business and why it is a success. Not only do I guide SAD eaters to a healthier alternative and hopefully to raw, but I also guide them through their own self-sabotage programing, which everyone has, and daily give them support and guidance.
After I took the flying leap, with his daily support, back to raw--overnight!--I did it 110%! I threw out everything that wasn't raw organic real 100% FOOD. I gave away many usable items, cleaned out my kitchen of all cooking pots, pans, etc., and replaced everything, including stocking my refrigerators (yes 2!) with real food. I started with green smoothies and went like a jet plane from there. I never have any second thoughts of what I did and I'm 100% grateful of the way things happened.
The only problem I had with doing the above was cash flow in my cleaning business. I was so sick that I let things deteriorate and stay that way until I got my health back. Now that I'm healthy I have built my business back up to a strong level and it will get even stronger in the next 6 weeks after vacations are over and children go back to school. Right now I'm stable with the flow of my business but I do like a cushion.
During this time I was recuperating I lived on credit to a large degree. I have plenty! This weekend I took a good look at my indebtedness and started the road back to credit card debt freedom. This isn't the only time I've had this happen. I've been debt free once in the last few years and close to the goal just before I got so sick. Illness is far more costly than organic produce! And, I wasn't hospitalized!
I worked all yesterday and a good portion of this morning on this project. I can say that I feel much better after looking at this mess I got myself in. I should be out of credit card debt in 24 months. I know me well enough that when I put my mind to something 100% it turns out better than expected and resolution comes much quicker.
Being credit card debt free is part 1 of a 3 part overall plan of action. Part 2 is saving enough money to physically relocate back to my heart's choice of Sacramento. Part 3 is a nest egg to live on for 3 months during which time I am setting up my 2 businesses on that end. I'll be moving in August and that is a great time to start a cleaning business. I'll be bringing my mentoring students with me via weekly Skype sessions and daily phone calls. I'll replace them on that end ASAP when one is through my program.
Yesterday I ate very little because I was so focused. I had to eat a larger meal at dinner to compensate. LOL This morning I am the same and need to finish this blog and eat my lunch.
I had watermelon; a mono-meal of 9 nectarines (858grms) I HATE MONO MEALS! unless it is melons!; 2 cups of Fettucinni-Alfredo on spinach with asparagus, orange cherry tomatoes (YUMMM), and alfalfa sprouts; 4 cups of Banana-Cranberry smoothie; 10 dates; Avocado, tomatoe, lentil salad.
My Cron-o-meter stats: 2270 calories; 84.5carbs/9.9fat/5.6protein; water:4189.3grms; fiber:75.2grms;sodium: 231.5mgs.

DAY 56 -- HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN - 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
I had the enjoyable experience of spending some quality time with my friends: Kris and Steve. They live half a year here and have a 2nd home in Florida which they live at Oct through April. They have invited me to visit them this winter and I may take them up on their offer this year. They are the ones I'm knitting an afghan for for Christmas. It is specifically for their Lenai in their Florida home. I will be starting it today in the afternoon.
I decided that Sundays are my day to do whatever! Yes I'll do chores and laundry, but I am going to do what I desire and not worry about the clock! Both of my jobs require me to watch the clock, to be on schedule, to get the job done, etc. Yes, I enjoy both and I wouldn't trade them for anything. However I had this idea that Sunday's should be the same. NO WAY! lol Now I'll work on scheduling my own house during Monday through Saturday and get it done that way. Sunday is my day to decompress. It is my mental/emotional rejuvenation day. Everyone needs that. I'll simply see it as part of my health program. LOL
I had 80 ozs of water (still very hot); watermelon; 5 cups of Banana-Citrus smoothie; 12 dates; Fettuccine-Alfredo (2 cups) on spinach with tomatoes, asparagus, alfalfa sprouts.
Cron-o-Meter stats: 2313 calories; 89.8 carbs/5.3 fat/4.9 protein. Water:5108.4 grms; Fiber:62.8grms; Sodium: 135.6mgs.
Now I'm off the computer and I'm enjoying my day. One thing I do realize is that today's society is losing their connection to life by spending too much damn time on the computer! Time for everyone to get into the game - the real game of life. The computer is a tool for YOU to use, not for social interaction. Social mediums are passive ways of interacting at best. Get off the computer and physically be present to those around you. Truly interact!

DAY 55 - HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN - 80/10/10 PARAMETERS
I can't believe it! I ate up all my sprouts yesterday. LOL I have some being grown/sprouted right now but my daily sprout salads are making a dent in my supply. I suspected this was going to happen and I started sprouting more a few days ago. Staying on top of supply is a key element in succeeding at this lifestyle. I appreciate what our forefathers and mothers went through so much more now that I am participating in the growing of food myself. It will be another day before I have alfalfa sprouts in sufficient quantity to make salads. I'm going to start more today. My friends gratefully accept any sprouts that I do not want for my own needs. Having good organic plant-based food go to waist is not something I do.
Yesterday after a very energetic and wonderful teaching session with a mentoring student, I was hungry for more salad. I fixed another sprout salad (my last supply, sighhh!) with avocado. Today I ate an entire (149 grms) avocado! This was my 3rd, yes THIRD, salad for the day. I am craving my vegies and greens for sure. Since eating so many fruits I no longer have any cravings or desire for deserts. Nice!
My menu for today: Watermelon, 12 dates, 5 cups of Banana-Strawberry smoothie; Sprout salad with avocado and tomatoe and Nan's dressing. For dinner: 1/2 serving of my Zucchini-Asparagus-Tahini dressing with red leaf lettuce from my friends garden (thanks Katie!), corn, asparagus, tomatoe, alfalfa sprouts. After my student left: Another sprout salad with tomatoe, avocado, 1/2 ZAT dressing.
Cron-o-Meter stats: 2908 calories; 81.9%carbs/11.7% fat/6.3% protein. Water: 5874.2grms; Fiber: 78.2grms; Sodium 254.1mgs.
Going over 10% once in a while with an AVERAGE of below 10% is just fine. It's amazing that no matter how many calories I take in as long as I meet the 80/10/10 stats, I do not gain weight! Of course it is important to note that my calories are much higher than what is taught to us with the propaganda of Eat Less, Exercise More (ELEM) mind controllers! That's simply starvation! A woman needs a minimum of 2000 calories if she sits all day at a desk. 2500 for an active female and 3500 for a high-performance athletic female. Don't believe me, try it yourself and you will FEEL the difference and see the difference. Of course your diet needs to be raw plant-based with an emphasis on fruit and limiting fat intake.
Thanks for reading. Have a fantastic day.

DAY 54 -- HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN - 80/10/10 PARAMETERS
I worked hard today! LOL I also had the enjoyment of visiting with one of my client/friend who isn't home much when I arrive. We went out and fed her horses and Candy, the horse, let me kiss her LOTS on her nose! LOL It was a first. Carol, my friend, and I got to chat a bit and we discussed her peach tree which I covet! She told me to clean the tree free of the peaches except to leave some for her dh. I was floored! So, in exchange she wanted one of my infamous sprout salads with some home made dressing. Duh!!! Of course I'll make her one. Such a win-finity. I can't stand paying $2.99 per lb for organic peaches that aren't half as good as hers. That's robbery! They will be ready for harvesting in a month or so. What fun!
When I am backed up against a wall with no way out I use to play passive. Several years ago I learned how to be deadly aggressive and had that in my arsenal of personal defense. I hate it! For the most part "the assisin" in me was laid to rest during my 92 day juice feast. I have a mad-dog bi-polar neighbor situation that I can't simply wish away. In order to have a peaceful resolution both parties must want it. She wants to have a blown out of proportion all out situation and I refuse to play her game. But I am backed up in a corner and didn't know what to do except to bring the assassin out to play. Believe me, I would leave no evidence! I didn't want to do that and had been talking to people who are good at coming up with Plan C answers. But, I also needed to come to a personal resolution. Yesterday I did. No details, but I am happy with my own personal stance on the situation. All possible with raw organic high-carb, low fat real 100% food. And, of course sufficient hydration, activity, and SLEEP! LOL
I ate 5 cups of Banana-Citrus smoothie, Sprout Salad with 1/2 serving of Cashew-Zucchini dressing; the other 1/2 serving with dinner salad consisting of Spinach, Corn, Orange Tomatoe and Alfalfa Sprouts. I also ate 12 dates.
My Cron-o-Meter stats: 2467 calories; water: 5470.6grms; fiber:6158.9grms; sodium:177.9grms
89.7% carbs from fruit!/4.9% fat from raw organic plant-based frugies/5.5% protein from same!
I've been planning my weeks vacation during the first week in October. I have several restaurants I am going to and I'm planning to re-visit my SAD eating program. I'm doing this for 3 reasons: 1)when in Rome do as the Romans do. My dear friend Gloria is very understanding. However, she truly didn't want my healthy eating program shoved in her face. Since I am visiting HER in HER home I am abiding by her wishes. 2)I am still coveting bad phood. This after almost a year of glorious raw organic eating. That is how badly the chemicals have affected my brain/emotions. 3)When I am on vacation I do not want to be tied down with being anal-retentive about food choices. I think one week per year is a very safe amount of time being "bad" on my phood choices.
I've discussed this with my doctor/friend/mentor/naturopath/811rv'r and he is fine on it. He and his wife live in Sacramento and I will be visiting with them before Gloria briefly and take a blood test to see how much I've improved since last October. His only condition on my plan, which I totally agreed to, is to eat on program on the trip there so my blood work will be the best it can be.
Thanks for visiting and reading my blog.

DAY 53 -- HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN - 80/10/10 CRON-0-METER
I had 1 new cleaning client today and 1 kind of new with a oldie client. I worked my butt off and it was hot! I drank 80 ozs of water along with a water-rich high carb diet. My ph is staying very high and that is showing me I'm doing right. I suggest everyone test their morning urine with a ph test strip. Again it is one of those health indicators that helps me keep on my path.
Yesterday I ate watermelon, 6 cups of banana-strawberry-pineapple smoothie, mixed salad with avocado and Zucchini-Asparagus-Tahini dressing; 10 dates; dinner: sprout and lettuce salad with Nans dressing. YUMMMMMM
My Cron-O-Meter stats: 2420 calories; 84.1% carbs/10% fat/5.9% protein. Water: 5020.5grms; Fiber: 65.3grms; Sodium: 190.8mgs.
Short blog today. Have a fruit-filled one and drink your water and sleep well!

DAY 52 - HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN - 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
Yesterday I got a new tire on my 2011 Honda Fit. The price is fixed on that special size tire so I paid through the nose. My fault! I turned a corner too sharply and put a hole in the side of the tire. Luckily I was right near the dealership! I was pretty upset about it. BUT.....that day I had been asked to do a longer than normal clean at a returnee client's house this Saturday. For what amount you may ask? For the exact amount (plus .5 cents!) of the tire replacement! Such is the balance of the Universe.
While at the dealership one of the workers was munching in an automatic response mode, on a bag of Sun Chips. Toxic brain-deadening chemical laden crap for sure! Of course when offered by me a luscious date in exchange for the crap he was killing himself with his response was: Oh No! I don't like fruit!!!! How common was that! The most normal and natural food on the planet for us frugavores being shunned because of toxic chemical overload! And he thought HE was making the decision! It's hysterical! In addition he did look brain drained. It's deplorable what our phood supply is doing to our IQ. Mine is 175 and then some. His looked about 85 and his response time to my inquiry and comments was always delayed. Very sad indeed. Kind of like telling someone who is taking hits off a crack pipe to stop smoking crack!
On to another subject: my cleaning business is going strong. I have 4 openings and hopefully those will be all taken by the end of the month. Next week I'm hitting the advertisement heavy. Only one of the openings is a large one: 3 hours. The others are 1 1/2 to 2 hrs and those are for partial cleanings which seem to be popular right now. Most want their bathrooms/kitchens/floors done. Most have reasonable expectations and we come to an easy agreement. Most also like to "tweak" the agreement as time goes on and add things to it. LOL I normally remind them of my time limit and their budget amount. Such is self-employment and life. I love it!
Yesterday I ate extra overt fats so I upped my calories and my carbs. That's the way to work this program and it's a win-win. More carbs, more calories = less weight and more energy! I ate watermelon, 5 cups Banana-Citrus smoothie, 14 dates and 2 bananas for snack. For lunch: Sprout Salad with avocado and 1 serving Nan's Sweet Pepper dressing. For dinner: 3/4rs of a mixed green salad with my Zucchini-Asparagus-Tahini dressing. I'm having the other 1/4th for lunch today with sprouts.
My stats: 2731 calories, 84.9% carbs/9.7% fat/5.4% protein. Water: 4833.9gms, Fiber:76.6 gms, Sodium: 155.8mgs.
I called my friend, Glo, in Sacramento and we made plans for my October visit. I will be off program the entire week come back to Boise and have a week interim before another 92 day juice feast in conjunction with another personal program I am designing right now. It will be powerful!
Her dh is going on a photo shoot to Vietnam with some of their Vietnamese friends the same time I will be visiting. That will set us free to come and go as we choose and that will be fun and less stressful to her. He has a tendency of whining a bit when he doesn't want to come with us. LOL We are planning to visit some of her favorite places and of course some of mine. Normally when I visit for some strange reason I am treated like visiting royalty wherever we go. I've had this curse all my life! LOL She loves the treatment! We never wait for our favorite tables at our favorite restaurants. We are always waited on hand and foot. We are given special deals and discounts. It is odd but something that I've faced all my life. It is even happening here in Boise now. LOL
I am thinking of changing my current program a bit. I'm considering having Saturday be all fruit day and Sunday all juice day. I'm trying that out this week.
Have a great fruity day and stay hydrated and get your 8 hours of sleep a night. Thanks for reading my blog.

DAY 51 -- HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN - 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
Yesterday was filled with everything. My first client had a problem with a project I had done for them while they were out of town. It wasn't so much my work, it was what my work revealed in a problem with their shower. I bit the bullet and refunded the money they paid me for that job. It smoothed ruffled feathers and they are good clients.
A client of mine who had been laid off her job got employment elsewhere and wanted to re-hire me. Also wanted a large cleaning on her house this week. Luckily I have a slot on Saturday. Lucky for me also because that money pays for replacement of a tire that I messed up after work yesterday!
I cut a corner too sharp and sliced a hole in my sidewall. It had to be replaced. It is amazing to me how the Universe balances out "bad" occurrences.
I believe that our mindset determines how we experience events and others and ourselves. I'm not talking about our superficial conscious attitudes and opinions. I'm talking about the search engine that is buried deeply that most do not even know nor want to know exists. I work on that deeper level most of my time. I'm trained to. I thrive there. So when an unfortunate event happens or someone is unkind the very first thing I do after reacting of course, is to delve deeper into my own mind to determine what I am using the event/person(s) to prove about myself and life in general. Then I repair any misconceptions from that level. This is healing! This is why we are here. The events/people themselves are simply used by us to prove/disprove our mindset and actually for healing purposes ONLY. We play victim to our own mind and only to our own mind.
Returning to my food: Yesterday I had water, watermelon, banana-strawberry smoothie, Nan's sweet pepper-tahini dressing with a sprout salad, 7 dates and for dinner a mixed salad with 1/2 serving of my Zucchini-Asparagus-Tahini dressing.
My Cron-o-Meter stats: 2068 calories (low!), 84.8% protein, 9.4% fat/5.9% sodium. Water:4455.5g, Fiber: 62.0g, Sodium: 180.7mgs. For exercise: Moderate Housework for 6 hrs: -1031 calories

DAY 50 -- HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
What a day! I woke up to a mentoring student issue and we resolved it thank goodness. I had 2 potential client's homes to bid out and I got both of them. I met with friends at the local yarn store and chose yarn and a pattern for an afghan. It is their Christmas gift for their Lanai room in their Florida home. They are "snow birds" which means they live here in Boise during late Spring and early Fall and in Florida in the Fall through most of the Spring. I need to start it now to have it done by October when they return to Florida.
My final call of the night was one to a client who I did projects for last week. They have a very fancy master bathroom with a marble tile shower-which is a pain! I was so careful with the cleaning it was building up residue we realized. I worked 1 1/2 hrs on the shower and couldn't get it all off. I thought it looked great but it still had build up and they worked on it together and got it clean. I feel badly about this and somehow need to make it right. I also realized that I need to step it up on that house and make a real effort. I've been getting lax there and that is not good. I need to make continual effort to maintain my clients. They support me.
As you know I am an avid grower of sprouts. I have about 8 types growing and I'm trying several more types right now for a test. I had succeeded finally at growing broccoli sprouts - in soil, not jar. I started eating some the night before last. On day 50 I woke up and wasn't hungry all day long. When my stomach growled at dinner time I ate a healthy sized salad with my Zucchini-Asparagus-Tahini dressing. My stats indicate my lack of food for sure. I went to bed early and got to sleep later than I expected - neighbor's dog barking again! We are going to court - her insistence! - on Friday and after I let them know this problem is still occurring it won't be a good testimony for her "innocence". Long story about this and I may write about it Saturday morning.
During the early evening I had a bout of Montezuma's revenge. I realized that the only thing I did differently was eat the broccoli sprouts. I have a feeling they caused my stomach issue. I'm laying off them for sure. This morning I felt better and I was hungry.
Yesterday I had 40 ozs of water, watermelon, 5 cups Banana-Citrus smoothie, 2 dates and for dinner 1 large lettuce/sprout salad with my dressing.
My Cron-o-Meter stats: 1701 calories. 86% carbs/7.4%fat/6.5% protein. 48.3g fiber, 118.1mg sodium, 3519.3g water.
Thanks for reading my blog

DAY 49 -- HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
Those who think that this healthy lifestyle is all about raw food and nothing but raw food are fooling themselves. High carb raw food is the fuel for the brain, body, emotions to run clean on. The real "food" that we are fed is the latent screaming voices of our inner thinking processes. Those are what guides us through life. Those are the demons or angels that we obey. These surface when we choose a path of getting out of our self-imposed prisons, which is what we desire to do. No one truly LOVES living in hell or living in isolation. The world is filled with isolated prisoners. To kill the pain of such a life everyone turns to their favorite distracts and drugs of choice and convenience. Phood being the drug of convenience. Are we really alive then? I say no!
Most of what I do with my mentoring students is NOT geared around raw food. Most of what I do is guidance through their own land minDs. It is a sometimes delicate, sometimes not so delicate process. I am going through the same process that I'm putting them through. Everyone WANTS change. Most do not even fathom what it takes. It takes desire. It takes commitment. It takes consistency. It takes dogged determination. It takes focus. It takes a really big heart and desire to GIVE rather than TAKE from society.
I have studied more than one lifetime in preparation for mentoring others to health, healing and wholeness. It is impossible to travel this road of healing without providing your body, brain and emotions with high-quality food in sufficient quantities with a high carb, low fat raw organic vegan eating program. Don't fool yourself if your thoughts come up with the canned reasoning "but everyone is different". Yes, everyone has personal preferences. Yes, everyone does things his/her way within a specific parameter. No arguing this point. BUT everyone who is a human is also a frugavore and needs sufficient quantity of quality fruit and vegies in their day. EVERYONE. To argue this point is simply futile on your point and a waste of precious time on mine. If you don't agree you aren't ready for what I teach and I accept that.
You also must deal with your personal stumbling blocks that are generated within your own mind. "As within, so without". I've studied 35 years in all facets of the nature of personal reality and spiritual truth. I've gone to hell and back several times. It all boils down to realizing what I'm thinking and if it isn't in alignment with gentleness and kindness to myself and others it is to be gently looked at, laughed at and disposed of. This is not a PASSIVE, nor a "sugar coating smiley-faced happy-happy positive thinking" perspective. Sometimes this can be getting into the mental muck and rolling in it and throwing a shit fit until the cows come home the next day. You cannot do this without faith that there is a Higher Power that has your hand and is gently and lovingly holding you. Without this step you are fooling yourself to think you are truly happy in the world. How can you be when you are programmed for superficial happiness at the cost of your soul?
The last part that I teach is getting connected to that inner self that is part of the True Self within which is pure Love. It is connected to everyone at all times. It is the silent voice within, the gentle voice, the voice without sound. To be truly alive we need that connection and we need the trust in that connection no matter what.
This blog is a bit deep. I do not apologize at all. I simply wish to state the obvious. It isn't just about the food.
Yesterday I did great on my food and kept strong on my healthy eating program. I had watermelon, 60 ozs of water, 5 cups of V6 green juice, 5 cups of Banana-Citrus smoothie, 10 dates, 2 bananas and 2 servings of Fettuccine-Alfredo with letuce, asparagus, tomatoes and clover sprouts. My Cron-o-Meter stats: 3137 calories (wow!) 85.7% carbs/7.9% fat/6.4% protein. Water: 7720.2grms, Fiber: 101.0grms, Sodium: 688.3mgs.
I am sleeping fantastic and getting things consistently and incrementally handled in my daily life. Thank you for reading my blog. Supportive comments are welcomed.

DAY 48 -- HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN - 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
The blessings continued today. Not in any particular fashion just generally speaking. It is wonderful to smile at complete strangers and have them smile in return. It's nice to wave to little babies, to help someone by opening a door when their hands are filled, to say hi for no reason, to simply feel you are in the flow of life. To be grateful to many people you will never meet for their efforts in providing the necessities of a healthy and happy life. To enjoy the weather, your job, your employers, their pets. Just being joyful is a blessing in itself. Do not underestimate the roll that a high carb, low fat, sufficient calorie raw vegan lifestyle plays in your life. It is an essential element. In fact it is the very first step on the rung of the ladder to whole life healing and health. Those who miss this step misstep every other rung. Those who ignore this rung will fall of the ladder. It is THAT important!
Durinarider, one of the voices in the high-carb, high-calorie life style has a Youtube video that is a must see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hp8-Z7Qn3_0&feature=related. I am having all my mentoring students watch this. There is only one point I mildly disagree with. His calorie amount stated is for MEN or women who are athletes. Women who are moderately active should start their daily calories at 2000 to 2250. I have mine at 2500 to 2800 unless I add additional daily exercise above my physical job.
I had 60 ounces of water (not enough in this heat), watermelon, 5 cups of Banana-Citrus smoothie, 2 cups of Fettuccine-Alfredo with mixed greens, asparagus, tomatoes and sprouts for lunch, 10 dates, mixed sprout and lettuce salad ---huge one! with my version of Green Goddess dressing: 1/2 avocado, 1/2 green pepper, lemon juice, savory and dill. Yummm!!!!
Cron-o-Meter stats: Unfortunately for today I was over on my fat%. 2513 calories, 81.1% carbs/ 12.6% fat (once in a while this is fine)/6.3% protein. My averages are within 80/10/10. The avocado did me in! LOL Water:5073.5grms, fiber:74.9grms, sodium: 172.0mgs.
Enjoy your day.

DAY 47 HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
The blessings continued today. What a week! I went over to Lowe's home store and purchased 3 whiskey barrels! These are actually aged Jim Beam barrels that were cut in half and are used by plant and vegie gardeners. They were very cost effective and decorative. I have a very long sunny driveway and I put them on the edge. By next year I'll have a dozen! This year we are coming up to the 2nd planting season. Vegies that do well germinating in the soil in the heat and want cooler temperatures when they are bearing their product. Lettuces, root vegies, beans, peas and tomatoes that are plants - which I'm buying this Sunday. So I'll have one pole bean, one barrel for lettuces and one barrel for tomatoes. I've got the organic soil which I purchased yesterday. I found out that you need less nitrogen in the soil for container vegie growing. I'm certain to learn tons more as the time wears on. Gesh, another round of learning! LOL
I started to get concerned this week when every day my weight went up. Since I am not adversely effected by the heat anymore with my increase in health and decrease in weight, I forgot that heat does make me retain water and it shows on the scale. This morning it was back down thank goodness. As soon as it starts cooling down a bit from the 100 degrees we have had this week, I should start peeing like a race horse. LOL Then it will really go down. My body fat is in the very good range - for me - of 24.7%. I am a happy camper!
I am harvesting my first batch of broccoli greens I grew in dirt. They are a bit spicy and I will add a few on each salad. I am very proud of my product of course. I think I have 14 jars of sprouts sprouting this time. I am the sprouting queen of Boise, Idaho! LOL
Yesterday I had 80 ozs of water, watermelon, 5 cups of Banana-Mango-Kiwi smoothie, sprout salad with Avocado-Sweet Pepper dressing I made from scratch - all my dressings are made from scratch. For dinner I had a mixed green salad with Cashew Butter-Red Bell Pepper dressing and it was yummy!
I also had 10 dates and realized I can't have dates until the afternoon for some reason. They make me gassy if I have them in the morning. Funny but true.
Cron-o-Meter stats: 2567 calories, 87.9% carbs/6.1% fat/6% protein. Water:5704.5 grams, Fiber:70.grm, Sodium: 279.8grms
Have a fruit-filled blessed day.

DAY 47 -- HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER STATS
Well I can say for sure I am eating well! It's amazing how much better one feels when they eat ENOUGH and eat high-carb. I can't really explain it in detail. It has to be experienced. It brings tears to my eyes to think that most "well fed" individuals are actually starving themselves to death! And then it makes me angry to see so many well-intentioned individuals exercise themselves into very stressed out emotional and physical conditions. No wonder the wealthy skinny bitches here in Boise, Idaho all look and act the same. Kind of like Barbie on crack cocaine and needing another hit!
Yesterday more wonders came my way regarding my garden plans. I have such a wonderful front porch area that I'm using it this summer and fall for planter boxes as a first go round for my vegie garden. It has sun most of the day and is a large enough area to have up to 8 whiskey barrels filled with wonderful produce. My herbs are out there right now enjoying the great outdoors and they have plenty of room even with the barrels. I'll be getting my barrels this weekend as well as the tomatoe plants and soil. Fun in the sun for sure. We are in between seasons right now and in a month I'll be planting my late summer/fall crop. See, I'm learning! LOL
Broccoli sprouts: don't ever try doing these in a glass jar! They stink to high heaven! Instead soak them in water for 12 hours, drain well, rinse and drain again and plant them in soil with a light amount of dirt on top. Within 2 days they start growing and they are cuties! So far I'm on day 4 and they are about 1" tall. These sprouts have a bit of a bite and I will use them sparingly in my mixture. They are also pricey little buggers as sprout seeds go. Of course go organic!
Yesterday I felt I ate like a queen: watermelon, 6 cups of Banana-Strawberry smoothie, 4 cups of V6, Sprout-Zucchini salad with a new dressing: Zucchini-Cashew dressing---very yummy! For dinner I had a mixed greens salad (thanks to my friend's heirloom garden!) and another new dressing: Avocado-Bell Pepper. Again, very yummy. I also had 10 Medjool dates.
My weight has gone up slightly from 108 at the start of this program 47 days ago to 110 which is still slender for my 5'2" height. My calories are higher and I now need to do exra exercise. This morning I got out of bed on time and after my kitchen duty I am heading for the mall to do that. Exercise to me is my alone time away from it all. I need that! No computer, no cats, no phone, nothing except the joy of movement. The GREAT news is my body fat hit a new all time low: 24.7%!!! Hooray! My doctor and I have a goal of 22% and I may just make it! I'm half way through the program and I am feeling optimistic. My weight goal is 108 or less.
Cron-o-meter stats: 2689 calories, 6655.0grms water, 90.2grms fiber, 663.8mgs sodium.
Thanks for reading my blog.

DAY 45 -- HIGH CARB/LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN --80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
There must be an invisible neon sign above my head that is flashing: HELP ON FRUIGIES!! LOL When I go marketing the people who work at the stores are sending people to me to discuss frugies.
The Universe is flooding me with opportunities and people to talk to about my new venture into health and healing. When I ask a question about gardening, 3 other people ask ME questions about fixing produce. It is simply amazing what happens when you clear your issues out of the way and allow things to simply happen. Of course you don't get the benefit of being in a "problem" and having to be rescued! This is a biggie and one that needs to be eradicated before one steps out into the light of a new truly loving life. Dependency is NOT Love! Too many times we tether ourselves to another out of fear instead of sharing strengths and true Love for ourselves and them. (OK I got off track here - sorry!)
Anyways I am truly enjoying all the information everyone is sending my way. My lawn mowing man is researching the least expensive way to build raised gardening beds in the back yard. This year I am starting out small and planting tomatoes and lettuces in large pots on my front porch area. One step at a time. I am going to purchase organic lettuce seeds locally and I've already fallen in love with a wonderful soil mixture I bought the other day. You "know" what is right when you run your hands through it. At least I do.
My eating is fantastic! I am learning rapidly what to do and what NOT to do. For some reason eating dates before a fruit smoothie is causing gas so I won't be doing that again! My salads are phenomenal! Yesterday I "chanced" upon some raw, organic cashew butter on sale. I used that last night in leu of tahini in my salad dressing. I blended it with some herbs, lemon juice and 2/3rds bell pepper and it was yummy! That lettuce mixture from my friends garden is absolutely wonderful! I'm making certain I plant this one next Spring. The heirloom seed place also has a red leaf mixture I am planting. I will have lettuce coming out of my ears next year! LOL
Yesterday I had 80 ozs water, watermelon, banana-citrus smoothie - 5 cups, 9 dates, 1 banana as a snack, 2 figs, 5 cups V6 green juice, Sprout Salad with my Zucchini-Asparagus-Tahini dressing, mixed greens salad with my Cashew Butter-Bell Pepper dressing. YUMMM
My Cron-o-Meter stats: 2802 calories, 83.4% carbs/9.8% fats/6.8% protein. Water:6452.4grms, Fiber: 89.6grms, Sodium: 340.0mgs.
My weight is stabilized between 108-109 and my body fat is now down to 25.0! I truly do want to do more exercise and will do my best to start that this coming week. I need to make it a priority and clear the reasons why not out of my mind and life for good! Moving our bodies is what our bodies are made for!
Enjoy your day and carb up!

DAY 44 - HIGH CARB, LOW FAT, RAW ORGANIC VEGAN 811 CRON-O-METER
Today was a day filled with blessings! After I made the firm commitment to begin outdoor gardening and a request for help in learning how to do it, took actions directed at achieving same, the Universe opened up for me. My sprouts are legendary! It's as though they are growing stronger and more vibrant each day to celebrate my commitment to self-sustaining food growing. Surely a sign that I am on the right track.
I made a salad that I would have paid $25 for at a seaside restaurant called "The Cottage" in Laguna Beach, California. This was one of my favorite spots. In fact the moment I took my 2nd bite of my salad I immediately in my mind was there! LOL My salad was made with sunflower greens, mung bean sprouts, alfalfa sprouts, tomatoes and Nan's Sweet Pepper-Tahini dressing. It was so good I had to share it with my friends so I did! Everyone went UMMMM - gosh that is good! LOL
My 2nd blessing of the day was a visit to a gardening friend of mine who wanted me to pick up some lettuce from her garden. She was home and we discussed so many things about gardening, raw food and the like. I spent an hour with her and we even went out and harvested more from her garden! She gave me seeds for dill and also a wonderful magazine: Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds that is making me drool every page I look at! It even has articles with pictures on how to harvest seeds from produce. A triple blessing with her for sure. You can order their catalog which is free from
:www .rareseeds.com. I'll be ordering seeds from them soon.
On the way to work I stopped off at a locally owned small gardening place and talked to the owners. I purchased some small dill plants and soil and pots. I will be planting the 3 starts today and already have my supply of dill in the frige waiting for use.
At my last clients house she left me a rare note thanking me for my hard work on 2 projects. That was a first and I've worked for her for over 15 years!
When my mentoring student arrived last night she gifted me a wonderful garlic bulb that needs to age - on it's stem with the tip - which can be used in recipes. What a treasure! She also gifted me some other herbs from her garden. I gifted her some things I had picked from my friends garden and we both were blessed! We also had a marvelous session with a deeper understanding on the level of commitment from her on her path to healing her entire life.
Yesterday I had 80 ozs of water, watermelon, 5 cups of V6, 6 cups of a wonderful Banana-Citrus smoothie, my infamous sprout salad, 12 dates, 2 bananas, a small salad with mixed greens from my friends garden, cherry tomatoes, avocado, alfalfa sprouts and Zucchini-Asparagus-Humus dressing.
My Cron-o-Meter stats: 2974 calories!!! 83.9% carbs/9.8% fat/6.4% protein. 6621.5grms water, 110.6 grms fiber(this was higher than it should be because some of what I track is juiced), 845.3mgs of sodium.
It was a wonderful day! Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog.

DAY 43 - HIGH CARB, LOW FAT, ORGANIC RAW VEGAN -- 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
We all have personal issues. Some are circumstantial, some are related to people we attract to us, some are solely because of our own life lessons and follow us wherever we go no matter what! One of my major ones is forsaking myself/making myself look inconsequential/weak to others so I don't appear to be a threat. Some of you can relate. Others will go "huh?", LOL. Believing I am a threat by being all I can be truly is a monkey on my back.
The way it works is this way: I'll be easily sailing through my life - life is NOT difficult, we simply make it that way. Something will happen and someone will state the obvious to me that perhaps I might be to blame. So, who is perfect in this world? LOL But, instead of simply resolving the issue -- all problems are EASILY resolvable -- I'll get into my personal muck and feel guilty. Guilt is the true disease of all of us. Then following guilt I'll have to punish myself. My favorite mode of punishment is stated above in my opening remarks.
This self-debasement mode will last quite a long time until I get sick and tired of being so ineffective. Then I'll get angry and get out of it. Unfortunately that entails finding fault in others which is the same guilt issue pointed outwards. Realize that when you are pointing your finger at another 2 fingers are pointed back at you. Blame and guilt are the same. When we are blaming another we secretly are blaming ourselves yet again. This spiral leads only one way -- down into the pit of dispair.
I have developed a program of sorts to keep me anchored strongly enough so that even when I am feeling like self-destructing because of guilt I keep on going until the wave of guilt deminishes. Yesterday I implemented the program. It worked! Yesterday was sensational! Not perfect of course but I stayed on purpose and focused and got a tremendous amount accomplished and barely skipped a beat.
I was planning to do another 92 day juice feast after this 100 days program. I've decided to continue with what I am doing and start a completely different program. I am doing 100 days of staying on purpose. Part of this program has to do with no longer using my charge cards - a very self-defeating and guilt/fear driven habit. I think in this day and age credit is just part of what is necessary and acceptable. I have plenty and am in good standing. This past year has taken a toll on my finances and my health expenses where a priority. It is time to start the road to paying off my credit card debt and the first step is to no longer charge. This program will coincide with a filled client roster in my cleaning business which will provide me adequate income to sustain myself while building up my mentoring business also.
I am a person that needs a well thought out program. In the next half of this current journey I will develop in detail my next step and try different aspects of it out to make certain that each step is doable.
We often say we don't have enough time, money, resources, support, energy, etc. Those are simply excuses for the most part. We have EVERYTHING we need to right our life and become stronger, healthier, more loving and productive people. WE stop ourselves! It is much more comfortable to keep in our box than to venture out of it. That "comfort" is costing us dearly! I say break down the walls of the box and come out into life and truly live it! Participate! Make mistakes! Skin your knees! Enjoy life to the fullest! Get off the computer and TRULY interact with people face to face!
Of course you can't enjoy life unless you are taking care of your body first and foremost. That leads to what I am doing and have been doing since last November---eating raw organic produce and nothing else! This step is essential. The next step of course is to do a detox cycle of at least 60 days duration. Then continue on a raw program afterwards low in fat and high in carbs.
Everyone is different, of course. But that doesn't mean that some can't do raw! It means that your raw program will have variations that aren't in mine. If you can eat cooked rice and have limited financial resources or a family to also feed, perhaps having some rice a couple of times a week will be on your program. As long as that rice doesn't have fat or salt, then I say that is fine. It isn't the healthiest thing to eat and often causes cravings however. Many can eat a bowl of rice and have no adverse effects. I can't. So do what you do within reason as long as it is plant based high-raw eating.
Sorry for the long blog--no I'm not! LOL Yesterday for my food choices: 60 ozs of water, watermelon, 3 cups of my V6, 5 cups of banana-strawberry smoothie, 10 dates, 1 serving (1 1/2 cups) Fettuccini-Alfredo sauce on red leaf lettuce, asparagus, orange tomatoe, alfalfa sprouts. 1 serving (1 cup) Zucchini-Asparagus-Tahini dressing on Spinach, Mushrooms, Corn, Tomatoe, Lentil Sprouts.
My Cron-o-Meter stats: 2588 Calories, 83.5% carbs/9.2%fat/7.3%protein. Water: 5648.5grms, Sodium:603.0mgs, Fiber: 832.9grms.
Have a wonderful day. Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog.

DAY 42 - HIGH CARB, LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN - 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER
Had a very nice day today. Spent time with my friends Kris & Steve. As always we talked about raw food! Yum. I'm going to teach Kris how to make the Fettuccine-Alfredo before they go back to their Florida winter home. For Christmas I'm knitting them an afghan for her beloved Lanai room in their Florida home. She couldn't be happier! I need to get started on this right now to give it to her before their departure in October. As always I will miss them.
I've made the decision to put in the effort and do an organic garden next year. I've weighed the pros and cons and took a sober look at the projected expenses and learning curve the first 3 years - the most expensive! I feel it is our responsibility to do what we can to take care of ourselves and share our bounty with others freely. My actions reflect my ideals for sure. I started a seed bank from my organic produce. I'm labeling and dating each batch. My friend, Trish, has offered the use of her vacuum sealer for seed preservation. That was kind. Kris and Steve are starting a garden also when they return to Florida. October is their planting season. I'm sharing my seeds with my friends and she is grateful.
I'm getting a lot of joy out of sprouting. I have sprouts daily and share my bounty with my friends and they in turn feel the joy. It also is a great way to entice others to eat healthier, but certainly not to manipulate anyone. Everyone needs to make their own decisions in their own time for how they want to eat and treat their body. We often need to have a health or personal crisis before we do something substantial to change. Change takes commitment and consistency. You have to have motivation to get the other two.
A note about sprouting broccoli seeds: they stink!!!! Yep, those little stinkers not only smell to high heavens, but they are costly buggers! I stopped sprouting them because of these issues. I don't like eating raw broccoli-too spicy!, so I wanted to eat the sprouts. I read up on different ways to grow them and came across the soil method. I started sprouting them again yesterday and will plant them in soil today. I'll keep you posted.
Yesterday I increased my water consumption to 80 ozs because we are having 100 degree heat. This will continue for the next couple of weeks. This summer is the first one ever I am managing fine in this heat. Every other year I normally would be sick by now - not fun! This is very refreshing!
I had 80 ozs of water, watermelon 6 cups of banana-kiwi-mango smoothie, 10 dates, Fettuccine-Alfredo with baby spinach, asparagus, tomatoes, alfalfa sprouts, Nan's Sweet Pepper-Tani Dressing with romaine, corn off the cob, tomatoe and alfalfa sprouts.
Cron-o-Meter stats: 2747 calories; 84.4% carbs, 9% fat, 6.6% protein. Water: 5908.8grms, Fiber: 80.3%, Sodium:258.5 mgs.
Happy to say that produce is cheaper right now. I got tons yesterday and it didn't break the bank! Yahoo!! The co-op reduced the price of their organic bananas down to the same as Natural Grocers so I bought 23 pounds (my weekly use) their instead. A woman questioned me about it and asked how many in my family, LOL I told her just me and I eat that many in a week. Then the normal response about sugar and glucose management! I gave her some education of course. She mentioned her doctor said: blah, blah, blah and that she had type 2 diabetes. LOL So I told her it was the fat, not the fruit. (Of course she was over weight) Then I asked her how much fat content was in what she was purchasing. She was quick to tell me the processed phood was for her DH and said not much fat. I told her all her produce in her basket had fat in it. Of course closed minds and defensiveness are not good tools for learning. People certainly don't like changing their opinions about fruit, do they? That's ok, I'm an avid educator!
Eat your fruit! Cut your fat! Use Cron-o-meter to track. Up your calories to 2500 for moderate activity and more if you exercise avidly. Don't be starve-conscious!

DAY 41 -- HIGH CARB, LOW FAT RAW ORGANIC VEGAN 80/10/10 PARAMETERS
Living life fully alive and off the chemical dependency in the phood supply and addictions of the phakephood has it's challenges for sure. And it has it's blessings! The blessings sometimes are continuous and sometimes are sporadic. These are beyond the physical, which is consistent improvement and exceptional health and fitness. The challenges seem minor by comparison and honestly they are. This is living life with eyes wide open. This is what life is all about. It is scary to realize that most are moving their bodies through life and are half awake and barely alive. I use to be one of these people. Very scary!
Last night I got to bed late and I feel asleep even later. 2 friends and I connected around the same time last night just before bed. The conversations were uplifting and wonderful. I simply couldn't fall asleep because of the joy I experienced with them. LOL Tonight I'll go to bed early for sure.
Yesterday I ate watermelon, 6 cups of my Banana-Pineapple-Citrus smoothie, 4 1/2 cups of my V6 green juice, Fettuccine-Alfredo with Romaine lettuce, asparagus, sprouts and tomatoes, 10 dates. I also tried my French friend Nan's Sweet Pepper-Tahini dressing. YOWZERS! This is amazing! I used 2/3rds of an orange sweet pepper and 2 Tbls of tahini. I put them in a standard blender, added some water and some dill and lemon thyme. YUMMMM I had 1/2 cup (this made 1 cup total) on a small salad made with pea shoot and sunflower greens and tomatoes. Double YUMMM Thanks Nan!
My Cron-o-Meter stats: 2835 calories, 84.3% carbs/8.4% fat/7.4% protein. You don't have to worry about eating too much on this program. You DO need to watch the caloric breakdown keeping caloric fat % BELOW 10% is the key. Water:6610.2 gms, Fiber: 95.3gms, Sodium:675.3mgs.
Yesterday I made the decision to start an organic garden in my back yard next year. I am starting my organic seed bank right now. A friend of mine is lending me her vacuum sealer for seed storage. I believe the proper way to do this is to let the seeds dry, vacuum seal them and store them in the freezer. I have tons to learn and I can start right now in talking to friends who have gardens and learning as much as I can on line. There is no better teacher than experience of course. I cannot grow nearly enough to even feed myself. However I can do my part. The 1st 3 years is when you shell out most of the money necessary to get it up and running and learn from your mistakes. I have no illusions that this is going to save me money. LOL I do enjoy the healing connection between food growing and your self.
I debated about doing an outdoor garden for months. I live in a high traffic area of town. I looked at the area where I want to do a garden and it is pretty well sheltered from direct onslaught of traffic pollution. Taking the pros and cons I still want to do a garden. I feel it is my responsibility to do my part and to share what I grow with others. I am even sharing my organic seeds.
Have a blessed and nutritious day.

DAY 40 -- LOW FAT, HIGH CARB 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER PARAMETERS
I bought a new Omron Body Composition Scale. It's not only necessary for keeping tabs on my own health indicators, but I use it with my mentoring students. My old one was messing up all the time - it needed a vacation, LOL. I like my new one it's easier to use. I also liked my old one and finally got that back up and running and realized it was perhaps my fault that it was messing up. I decided to continue using the old one for myself and use the new one for my students since it's easier to use. On the old scale my body fat was finally down into the 25% range and that made me smile! It's about time!!
I function on a very deep level compared to most people. My thoughts are centered around spiritual/psychological ruminations for the most part. I believe in striving to get my mind focused and keep my life on track. It takes a lot to do just that, LOL. Our minds are very powerful. They run the whole show actually. Yesterday I hit that wonderful "sweet spot" where I simply focused on what I was doing and enjoyed the activity. No distractions, just simply "be-ing". Everything contains it's opposite so after that wonderful respite some flotsum and jetsum came to the surface. All of a sudden I had cravings for SAD that wouldn't go away with a wish and a prayer. No, I didn't go off program. It was very tough for me to stay clean and sober for sure.
My afternoon was chaos and my schedule radically changed. All of a sudden I had all this rage come up and a series of events happened centering around stupid men doing very inconsiderate and stupid things. I lost it! Several times. That lasted about 2 hours. I had a private talk with myself telling me to get out of this rage and find some peace.
When I got home I received a phone call and realized I was sensing something coming down the pike from my landlord. As soon as I realized that this was the key to my afternoon rage/funk, I accepted it and let it go and no longer wanted to bury my feelings in a cheese burger and fries. Amazing how we want to drown our emotions in chemicals disguised as "food".
For my eats yesterday: watermelon, 60 ozs of water, 6 cups of Banana-Mango-Kiwi smoothie, 5 cups of my V6 juice, Fettuccine-Alfredo with asparagus, sprouts, tomatoes on romaine lettuce, 12 dates.
My Cron-o-Meter stats: 2869 calories!, 86.8% Carbs/6.4% fat/6.8% Protein water:6330.3 grms, fiber: 94.9gms, Sodium: 723.5 mgs.
Stay focused, carbed up, hydrated, well-rested, and truly alive! Thanks for stopping by my blog today.

DAY 39 -- HIGH CARB, LOW FAT 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER PARAMTERS. FRUGIE DOG
Yesterday I started a new cleaning client. Nice family and friendly woman. I enjoyed it and hope it works out for all of us. Their big dog a "golden-doodle" (part golden retriever/part standard poodle) eats fruits and vegies! What a hoot! She loved the Medjool date I gave her - without the pit of course!
I tried a new recipe and it failed. I used the wrong type of tomatoes and will be doing some experimenting with the different tomatoes this weekend. The water content of the cheaper tomatoes separates from the sauce almost instantly making the tomatoe sauce more like paste. Or perhaps I am blending it too long and too fast in my Vitamix? Again, I'll do some research.
Yesterday I had water, watermelon, 5 1/2 cups of Banana-Cherry smoothie (yumm!), 4 cups of my V6 green juice - green juice cleans you out fast! LOL, 1/4 serving of my Zucchini Pasta with Marinara Sauce (a bust!), and for dinner I had sprout salad with my avocado-lemon-sweet pepper dressing ---yumm!. I almost forgot: 10 Medjool dates.
Cron-o-Meter stats: 2773 calories 86.6% carbs/7% fat/6.4% protein, 6212g water, 99g fiber **my goal is 100 grms....so close!, 701.5mgs water.
The more I eat carb heavy the more my weight and body fat % are in check. Strange but true!
Thanks for reading my blog.

DAY 38 LOW FAT, HIGH CARB, 80/10/10 CRON-O-METER PARAMETERS - GREEN JUICE!
When you start a raw eating program you become aware of your bodies requirements. This is where individual preferences and needs takes priority. We all need raw nutrition! We all thrive when we eat sufficient quantities of raw plant food. We all have energy to spare and lose weight naturally when we consume enough carbs from raw fruit. And we all have personal idiosyncrasies that need to be addressed and honored. This is where this program can drive you a bit crazy! LOL
Some days your body wants more bananas. Some days more pineapple. Still other days more tomatoes. You cannot totally plan for the week. Just do your best and live close to an organic produce store. LOL
The last several weeks I stopped drinking my V6 green juice. Ever since that time my emotional challenges have escalated. Several months ago I was shocked to realize the connection between mega-nutrition received in raw food, specifically fruits and greens, and calm disposition/mental abilities. I always knew that the body thrived on this program. This was the missing link to a 35 year search I had been on to find the components necessary to effectively handle ones life. Eureka!!! Unfortunately because of the influence of the 30BAD chat room, I gave up drinking my green juice. Their standpoint is that juicing is not a good form for nutrition. I disagree. Everyone has their opinions and it is human nature to argue a point to death. I do not debate! So I left that forum and have not looked back. I respect and admire and support Durianrider and Freelee but not their chat website. I also disagree with some of their points on their program. So what? LOL
I started drinking my V6 green juice yesterday. The immediate effects to my emotional and mental states was miraculous! I am still imperfect of course, but at least I am sufficient in ALL the nutrients my system requires for optimal performance on all levels. Green juice is here to stay!
Yesterday I ate watermelon, 60 ozs of additional water, my Zucchini-Asparagus-Tahini dressing on a wonderful all-sprout salad with tomatoes, 4 1/2 cups of my V6 green juice drink, 6 1/2 cups of fruit smoothie, salad for dinner with lettuce, corn, tomatoe topped with a new dressing:56 grms avocado, 58 grms green pepper, dill, thyme blended with the juice of 1 lemon. A winner!! This was delicious!
My crono-o-meter stats: 2351 calories; 78.1% carbs/13.7% fat***/ 8.3% protein, 6462.0grms water, 84.4grms fiber, 670.8mgs sodium.
**This was high for this day. Remember that this lifestyle caloric quotient is AVERAGE for the week. Going over on fat % once in a while is not a problem.
While I was at a client's house cleaning yesterday they stopped by on their way out of town. They had come back into town from their vacation cabin to attend a funeral of a good friend that unexpectedly passed away. The expression on her face when she saw me was interesting to say the least! LOL She saw me last when I weighed 65 lbs more and was sick. She was very shocked and I'm sure made some very private judgements. LOL I was shocked too when I saw her. Too often with the SAD diet women who are going through menopause gain body mass rapidly. This is NOT inevitable! Of course we are told it is and it is caused because of hormonal changes. Bullsheit! She looks about 20 years older and 45 lbs heavier and very sluggish. It is very sad to me that this is such an accepted aging process. The sheep herd mentality.
Thanks for reading my blog. Please realize the potential healing power of your body and mind and emotions when given the proper components: 8 hrs sleep, sufficient hydration, high carbs and low fat raw vegan eating. Of course this means organic or locally grown/self grown pesticide free produce.

DAY 37 LOW FAT, HIGH CARB, 80/10/10RV CRON-O-METER PARAMETERS -- JUICE!!
My nails, my skin need more nutrients from greens than what I can physically eat per day. I have been noticing small changes that aren't to my liking the last couple of weeks since reducing my greens consumption. I do not want more smoothies/fiber in my diet at this time and cannot drink sweet green smoothies. My only other viable option is to go back to drinking my V6 juice. This is to me a great solution. It has a lb of greens, a lb of tomatoes, 1/2 bunch of celery, 14 ozs of carrots, 1 whole cucumber and 1/2 clove of garlic for zing! I normally put some baby bok choy or bok choy in it also but it isn't available at this time.
I added another client to my cleaning business yesterday. I hope she works out. Their huge chocolate lab loved me and that is always important to new clients! She even played with her favorite toy right beside me. How adorable was that?!
Yesterday's food wasn't that great. I had Spinach-Pesto dressing on some vegies and the dressing doesn't have enough flavor for me. Again this lifestyle is something you need to experiment with to get it to your specific likes. Everyone likes different tastes. Some like very little flavor, mono-meals, and no overt fats. I like savory tasty more complicated dishes and variety! Variety is the spice of life. I also had 6 cups of my fruit smoothie, 10 medjool dates and 2 bananas for snack in the afternoon.
I had 4846.1 grms of water, 2413 calories, 88.9% carbs/5.9% fat/5.2% protein. 67.8grms fiber, 143.1mgs sodium.
I'm noticing that the produce I purchase at Natural Grocers seems to not be as good a quality as the produce I purchase at the Co-op. I honestly think they are cutting their costs by purchasing the lower quality. The bananas I purchased are still a bit green when they get spotted all over and when I prepare them for the freezer they are mushy. They are also splitting their seems which is something I'm not use to seeing in a banana. The cost of organic bananas is .24 cents more per lb and I need to buy 15 lbs of bananas per week to maintain my supply for smoothies and snacks. That's a lot of bananas.
Local non-certified organic farmers that do not use pesticides, etc. on their produce are starting to sell their produce at the co-op and I partake of it weekly. I am seeing heads of lettuce that are literally singing arias and as vibrant and dark in color as you can imagine. A head of locally grown pesticide free is $1.79 each. These are weighing in at 2lbs per head! Magnificent! The non-local organics are $2.79 each and 1/2 the size. Glory be to the local farmer for sure!
Thanks for reading. Remember to eat your fruit and greens and vegies. Drink lots of water and get at least 8 hrs of sleep a day. Your body will thank you!

DAY 36 LOW FAT, HIGH CARB 80/10/10RV CRON-O-METER- DAY OF REST
Yesterday I took off the entire day from the world and rested up from the last 2 months of continuous "personal growth" issues. I needed it for sure. I am happy to say that I never strayed off my program. Yes, of course I had those thoughts. After all I did consume massive amounts of chemicals and addictive substances designed to eat what isn't fit for human/animal consumption. Even if I cleaned out my system with a 92 day juice feast it will take several more cleanses and years of eating 811LFRV continuously to get the rest of the chemicals and phood phantasies out of my system.
I tried a new recipe out: "Caramel Apples". I blended 6 Medjool dates with some water in my Magic Bullet style blender. I poured the mixture on top of sliced Fuji apples and sprinkled 1 tsp of Hemp berries on top. It was good but next time I am blending the mixture using my Vitamix or Blendtec and using a stronger tasting apple to complement the stronger taste of dates. I am also using walnuts on top.
Yesterdays eats: watermelon;5 1/2cups fruit smoothie bananas, strawberries, kiwi, and mango;1 cup of my Zucchini-Asparagus-Tahini sauce with red butter leaf lettuce, tomatoes, corn off the cob, and 53 g sunflower greens I grew myself; 1 "caramel apple" mentioned above, 156 grms of bing cherries-the first in years! I drank 60 ozs of water.
My Cron-o-Meter stats: 2477 calories, 88.9% carbs/5.9% fat/ 5.2% protein 74.0grms fiber, 141.5 mgs sodium, 4630.2 grms water.
Thanks for reading my blogs. Carb up, get plenty of rest and eat raw vegan!

DAY 35 LOW FAT, HIGH CARB, 80/10/10 PARAMETERS ---- NO DOUBLE OVERTS
I prepared a very nice main dish using my favorite Zuchini-Asparagus-Tahini dressing. Tahini is an overt fat. My recipe makes 3 cups and I use one cup per serving on a very large salad or tom-burger. I also have been playing around with using avocados. I used some in the same recipe. Too much is too much! I really felt sluggish and almost lathargic afterwards throughout the day. I learned my lesson and in fact realize I can live without eating avocados. This eating program is a constant learning curve for sure.
I again tried combining a portion of my Ambrosia-Banana-Citrus smoothie with spinach for a green smoothie and didn't even drink it. I truly do not like my green smoothies so sweet. In fact I was giving some of it to a small baby at the co-op and the baby LOVED it! LOL That is how sweet it was! So on day 36 7/1/12, I am trying something different out. I am making a separate green smoothie with a banana, some dates and some baby spinach.
For yesterday I had watermelon, 80 ozs of water, 6 cups of my ABC smoothie, zuchinnin-Asparagus-Tahini sauce (1 cup) with red butter leaf lettuce, tomatoes, avocado (no more!) and cucumber. I also had 10 Medjool dates. I purchased 80 dates for this week, LOL.
My cron-o-meter stats: 2356 calories 88% carbs/6.7% fat/5.3% protein. 71.9grms fiber, 226.1 mgs sodium and 5676.8 grms water! Wow!
I'm sorry to say no exercise beyond my normal day.
Thanks for reading my blogs. I do hope my personal journey and reflections help you on your own.

DAY 34 - LOW FAT, HIGH CARB, 100% RAW ORGANIC VEGAN 80/10/10
About 6 years ago I went on a vacation and didn't really have a great time. My friend in Sacramento was scattered and not feeling well and was fretting about her DH or her disabled son the entire time together. Life happens. When I returned at the end of May that year everything in my cleaning business was a disaster. I let go of 3 clients and another one of my clients died. That was simply the beginning of a long series of bad happenings. All of it accumulated emotionally and ended up showing me that I needed to change drastically as a person. I complied and everything turned around and actually improved remarkably. I have had pretty much 6 years of a very strong business without too much in the way of problems. Until this summer.
Of course my health wasn't the best since 2003 and I was working a very physically demanding job 65 lbs overweight and in poor health. Not a great combo. Fast forward to November 2011 when I began my journey to health. I let my cleaning business take a back seat and worked a slower schedule while I recuperated - doctor's orders and I was ok on that. Now that I am cleared for a full schedule and my health is superb I need to scramble to get my cleaning business back running full steam. This is the summer and most people are not wanting to consider hiring house cleaners until the vacations are over and the kids are back in school. Of course that is also right before holiday season starts and then EVERYONE wants help! LOL
I've been pounding the streets, going door to door, delivering flyers left and right. I am getting calls and going out to meet with potential clients. This is the week of a holiday and so things are a bit slow. Yesterday morning my phone had 4 messages on it. 1 message was a cancellation of a regular appt this weekend, another was a cancellation of a potential client meeting. 2 strikes. Then another client postponed her cleaning until the following Friday, strike 3. Then a re-scheduled potential client meeting was a no-show on his part, strike 4. Then the icing on the cake: I got a formal summons to appear as a witness against my bi-polar neighbor and her damnable howling hound from hell. She likes a theatrical show and wants to prove before 12 of her peers - yes it is a jury trial - that her innocence was violated by me, her bitch of a neighbor, and her heavenly dog never barks!! LOL LOL This I expected when I signed the statement to have her cited and she is fighting it.
Oh well, this is the culmination of another Summer From Hell. This one I'll call Part 2.
Life has it's ups and downs. Cleaning up your diet and living habits and being healthy and fit does not stop life's lessons from showing up. In fact you are much more sensitive because your mind and emotions are clearer and sharper. You are much more intuitive and you feel feelings stronger. Read my blog from yesterday to understand the process better.
Life also goes on. Bumps in the road use to derail me and throw me into a tail spin. Now it is simply almost a non-incident. Yes, I acknowledge what is occurring. Yes, I admit to my feelings. Yes, I also find out why the situations and people are in my life and what lesson they are serving up to me. This is the path of internal healing. This is my path.
As to what I ate yesterday and my stats:
9 cups of my ABC smoothie
Watermelon
Tons of Water
Fettucini-Alfredo with red leaf lettuce, tomatoe, asparagus and avocado and alfalfa sprouts.
12 dates!
Cron-o-meter stats: A Whopping 2745 calories! Woo Wee! 86.1 carbs/9% fats/4.9% Protein
81.3grms fiber / 95.9% sodium - too low.
I did 2 laps of mall and 2 stair cases and 1 hour of walking in the sunshine and fresh air. I got my exercise for sure.
Thanks for reading my blog.

DAY 33 LOW FAT, HIGH CARB 80/10/10 PARAMETERS -- RIDING THE WAVES
I cannot emphasise enough the importance of realizing it isn't just about food even if food should be one of the main focus points of our health. It is also about detox. Detoxing as in going 100% raw, 100% organic and low fat of course, with lots of fruit and at least 1/2 lb of per day. Detoxing is happening at all times and by providing the body with the nutrients needed it happens continuously but slowly when following the above program.
Another form of detox is simply juicing for a long period of time -- a minimum of 60 days. This requires a commitment and before the commitment takes hold you need a strong reason or reasons for doing this. Also support on the home front is required. Don't even try this on your own. Mentoring by someone who has the education, background and has done this themselves is best. This is why I have my 2nd business. I don't mess around, nor do I put my clients on a fast-road to self-destruction by going directly from SAD to juice feasting.
The best way to detox is water and rest at a reputable retreat. This is very expensive and you have to put your life on hold. This is by far the best way to give your system a complete re-boot. Of course being a low fat, high carb 100% raw organic vegan beforehand will enable you to have a less problematic fast. This type of fasting is for the lifers. It is not something one does and then goes back to eating SAD, or high fat raw.
When you do any cleansing/detox there is a large portion of toxicity that comes out of the body that is god-awful and amazing at the same time. Chemicals that have been in your system, including your brain are eliminated and you suddenly start thinking clearer. Your emotions are also crisper, cleaner, and more on the surface than ever before.
The final part of this is where I am at at this point in my journey. I crave the SAD phakephood when I am wanting to fight the thoughts emotions that are needing to be addressed. Of course first I get sufficient water, rest, fresh air/sunshine, and carb up and have my greens. Then if I am still feeling "off" I am really needing to address the emotions that are wanting attention.
This can be unnerving. It is life in the raw actually. I am a trained grass-roots therapist. This is my play-ground and something that I emphasise with my mentoring students. You MUST work on the physical levels AND the emotional/psychological/spiritual levels at the same time. Emphasising one of these important levels and foresaking the other is the road to being unbalanced and disfunctional. We live in a physical universe. Our bodies are the communication device for the unseen. Both are important.
In future blogs I will delve into this more than here. Please stay tuned.
What I ate today:
water
watermelon
8 medjool dates
8 cups of Ambrosia-Banana-Citrus Smoothie
Fettucini-Alfredo - 2 1/2 cups with asparagus, tomatoes, spinach, avocado and sprouts.
I am re-introducing more types of overt fats into my diet and still staying within the 80/10/10 parameter for calories. I have to have my daily calorie range of 2250-2500 and eating minimal amounts of overt fats does help. So far so good.
Cron-o-meter stats: 2434 calories 84.8% carbs/9.7% fats/5.5% protein. 77.4grms fiber/153.6 mgs sodium.
On a pleasant note: I contacted The Date People and talked at length with Jamie himself. What a great man! He is a raw organic vegan himself and a champion of getting GMO phood products not only labeled but, along with me and thousands of others, getting Monsanto and other big poisoners of our food supply and nation out of business for good!
The Date People is where I am ordering my dates when they come back into season. They harvest a new crop September-October. You can see their selection and prices by going to Thedatepeople.org.
You can contact them directly by phone: 760-359-3211.
